Aibek Mamajunusov

Resident of Moscow. Detained and taken into custody on 19 February 2020 on charges of involvement in the activities of an extremist organisation in connection with involvement in the activities of the Islamic movement Tablighi Jamaat. His adherents are persecuted solely because of their religious activities. On 7 July 2021, Mamajunusov was sentenced to six years. On 14 April 2025, he was released, after which he was immediately detained and later apparently deported.
