Biography
Late in the evening of 8 August 2019, Gubaidulin was searched as part of the mass riot case, after which he was taken for questioning to the Investigative Committee, where he was charged. The next day, the court decided to take him into custody. On 31 August, his lawyer reported that Gubaidulin was charged with attempted violence against a representative of the authorities.
On 18 September, the court returned the case to the prosecutor's office. Gubaidulin was released on his own recognisance.
On 15 October Gubaidulin was reclassified the charge to threatening to use violence against a representative of power.
