Airat Shakirov

On 19 May 2015, he was detained and brought to Kazan. On 20 May was arrested along with three other people on charges of involvement in the activities of the terrorist organisation - Hizb ut-Tahrir. On 5 April 2017, he was sentenced to 18 years in a strict regime colony.

In November 2019, it became known that Shakirov was placed in a punishment cell (SHIZO) in the colony. Shakirov declared a hunger strike. On 20 November, he was released from the SHIZO.
