The second Vice-President of the International Criminal Court. A criminal case was opened against her for unlawful detention in connection with holding Vladimir Putin and Children’s Rights Commissioner Maria Lvova-Belova criminally liable. On 12 December 2025, Alapini-Gansou was sentenced in absentia to imprisonment.
