Renowned scientist, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, head of the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, expert of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Military-Industrial Commission, Hypersonic Weapons Section of the Russian Government.
On 5 August 2022, it became known that he was detained and sent to a pre-trial detention centre, the Institute was searched.
