Aleksandr Skvortsov

A Ukrainian-born resident of Irkutsk, and an employee of an Olympic reserve school. No later than September 2023, criminal case was initiated against him for desecrating the flag after he tore down the tricolour at school, as well as for rehabilitation of Nazism and public justification of terrorism based on certain comments on "Telegram". On April 5, 2024, Skvortsov was sentenced to four years in a general regime penal colony. On July 16, 2024, the court of appeal reduced the sentence by a month.
