Aleksei Petrov

A resident of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Petrov had worked with regional politicians. According to Kamchatka Life, he lived in Moscow from 2020 to 2024 and was employed as a technical specialist at some company. A criminal case for calls to terrorism was opened against him over a comment he posted in August 2020, in which he suggested giving Covid vaccine to the "Kremlin's Kashchei", hoping the virus would carry him off. On 8 January 2025, Petrov was taken into custody. In October 2025, the Astra Telegram channel reported that a treason case had also been opened against Petrov.
