Alesya Marokhovskaya

Journalist, editor-in-chief of the publication "Important Stories", left Russia after the outbreak of war. Three times winner of the "Redkollegiya" award for her articles in Novaya Gazeta, Meduza and Vazhnye Istorii. In August 2021, she was included in the register of "foreign agents". On 5 December 2024, her parents were searched in connection with a case against her for evading her duties as a "foreign agent".

In October 2025, the court sentenced her in absentia to ten months of correctional labour.
