Biography
Resident of Astrakhan. On 13 May 2011, he was detained as part of a case of organising activities of an extremist organisation due to his involvement in the activities of the Islamic movement Tablighi Jamaat. Its adherents are persecuted solely because of their religious activities. Presumably, on 15 May, Avdonin was released on his own recognisance. He was also accused of weapons possession: during the search they found a grenade in his possession - Avdonin claimed that it had been planted.
