Alexei Dmitriev

A resident of Veliky Novgorod. A case was brought against him for financing extremist activities due to FBK donations. On 20 August 2025, the court sentenced him to a fine of 400 thousand roubles in the case. On 3 December 2025, the court of appeal instance, having approved the punishment in the form of a fine, returned the case to the court of first instance in terms of deciding the issue of confiscation of the amount that the prosecuted person had transferred to the foundation: the court agreed with the prosecution that the court of first instance should not have exempted Dmitriev from confiscation.
