Biography
A resident of the city of Ufa, he is an ENT specialist by profession.
On 24 March 2022, his home was searched and he was taken into custody. Dmitriev was charged with participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation, preparation for the violent seizure of power, public justification of terrorism, and attempted extortion or theft of weapons.

According to Mediazona, Sergei Sapozhnikov, who also took part in the activities of the group and later became a witness in the case, gave testimony against the other participants. He stated that the group had been preparing to seize power.
On 16 December 2025, Dmitriev was sentenced to 20 years’ imprisonment in a strict-regime penal colony.
