Biography
A resident of Aleksin (Tula region), who was previously convicted. On 28 April, 2025, he was fined 40,000 rubles under the administrative article on discrediting the army (Article 20.3.3 of the CAO) because, while being in a cell at the police station on another administrative case, as the court ruling says, he "called for violence against Russian citizens and destruction of the Russian nation, as well as expressed support of an unfriendly country".

After that, a criminal case was opened against him for discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation because of the certain statements criticising the authorities for the war in Ukraine, which he made twice on 15 May, 2025 - first in a public garden and then in a district hospital.
In October 2025, the case went to court. On November 13, Korolev was sentenced to two years and two months in a strict regime prison colony.
