Alexei Nikonorov

Former Kostroma police officer Aleksey Nikonorov was accused of giving PARNAS activist Andrei Pivovarov access to the police department's data bank during the election campaign in the Kostroma region in July 2015. He was kept in custody, in October 2015 he was transferred to house arrest. During the court hearing on the measure of restraint, he stated that he was required to incriminate Pivovarov. He was charged with unlawful access to legally protected computer information, abuse of power, and later bribery. On 10 June 2016, he was sentenced to three years and nine months in a penal colony and a fine of three million rubles. On 4 August, by decision of the court of second instance, the term was reduced to three years and seven months, and the amount of the fine was reduced to 150 thousand. On 3 October 2017, he was released on parole.
