Biography
In June 2022, a court fined Filugin 35,000 rubles under the administrative article on discrediting the Russian army (Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences) because of several publications and comments on his VKontakte page condemning the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
On 3 July 2023, Filugin was taken into custody in the case of deliberately spreading false information about the Russian Armed Forces and discrediting them. In the request for such a preventive measure, the investigators stated that Filugin lives in the territory bordering Kazakhstan, where he is from, and, according to operational information, expressed his intention to flee there.
