Alexey Moroshkin

He calls himself the rector of the Church of the Chelyabinsk Meteorite. He travelled as a volunteer to Crimea, then took part in the fighting in Donbas. Under the name Andriy Breyva he created a group in the social network VKontakte "For Fighting Ukraine! For the free Urals! Together against evil!". On 10 August 2015, FSB officers searched Moroshkin's house because he is a suspect in the case of calls to violate the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation; the reason for the case were publications in the social network "VKontakte" in the group "For Fighting Ukraine! For the free Urals!"; on 19 August he signed a recognizance not to leave; on the night of 13 September Moroshkin left to Ukraine, but at the end of September he was detained in Russia and arrested by court decision on 28 September; after 28 November there were no requests to extend his arrest; Moroshkin was also charged with vandalism in connection with painting a bust of Lenin in Chelyabinsk in the colours of the Ukrainian flag. On 19 November 2015, the Sovetsky District Court of Chelyabinsk released Moroshkin from criminal liability and ordered that he be sent to a psychiatric hospital. On 1 June 2017, it was decided to stop compulsory treatment. On 14 June, he was released. The vandalism case was closed on 4 December 2017 due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.
