Alexey Tishin

A human rights defender. On 5 October 2024 he was detained after a search came to his rented flat in Ufa. Tishin spent two days in a temporary detention centre. Supposedly, a case of insulting the representative of an employee of IK-9 in Bashkortostan was opened against him. He links this to the investigation of torture and rape cases in this colony. According to some sources, he was released under recognizance; according to other, his whereabouts are unknown.
