In May 2022, a report on discrediting the Russian army (Article 20.3.3 of the Administrative Code) was drawn up against him because of the inscription "Occupants, Fashizm" on the wall of the city military enlistment office. Vorochek was fined 30,000 rubles.

At the same time, according to unconfirmed reports, he was arrested for 7 days due to the fact that he allegedly refused a medical examination for the presence of alcohol. While he was under arrest, the special forces "Grom" ("Thunder") of the Lipetsk Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted a search of his relatives and the relatives of his wife. During the search, a bulletproof vest, gas masks, an American flag, and stripes with Ukrainian symbols were found in Vorochek's apartment. Later, he said that he used the bulletproof vest to play airsoft. gas masks for photo shoots, a flag for decoration, and bought stripes because he is half Ukrainian. He was accused of having links with the "Right Sector". Vorochek also reported that during his detention, FSB officer Dmitry Peregudov and special forces soldiers forced him to sing the anthem of Russia, threatened him with rape and tried to force him to have a blowjob in a police van. After serving a day on administrative arrest, he was taken into custody. During the hearings devoted to the election or extension of the preventive measure, Vorochek claimed torture, but the court ignored these statements.

On July 27, 2023, he was sentenced to a year and 11 months in a general regime penal colony, soon released due to the long stay in custody. He was also given six months of freedom restriction.
