Amalia Malchugova

A resident of Khakassia. In October 2025, she was detained in an extremist organisation case because of her involvement in the Jehovah's Witnesses community. Representatives of this community are prosecuted under extremist articles solely because of their religious activities — holding meetings and worship services and attracting new supporters.

Malchugova was released under recognisance not to abscond.
