She participated in anti-war protests in February and April 2022. Initially, Ageyeva was charged with the 1st part of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code, but later she was charged with spreading deliberately false information about the Armed Forces with the motive of political hatred (point "e" part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code). On March 25, 2024, Ageyeva was sentenced in absentia to eight years' imprisonment.
