Anatoly Gubanov

An associate Professor at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) and head of the Department at the Zhukovsky Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI). He participated in an international project to develop a high-speed aircraft called HEXAFLY-INT. In December 2020, he was detained and taken into custody on charges of high treason. On October 27, 2023, he was sentenced to 12 years in a strict regime penal colony.
