Anatoly Yevtushenko

Anatoly Yevtushenko is a resident of Stavropol Krai. On 28 January 2022, a search was carried out at his home. A criminal case was opened against him for participation in the activities of an extremist organisation due to his involvement in the Jehovah’s Witnesses community. Members of this community are prosecuted under extremism-related articles solely for their religious activities, including holding meetings and worship services and attracting new followers. On 23 December 2025, Yevtushenko was sentenced to two years in a general-regime penal colony.
