On 1 June 2023, he was taken from his home and taken to the Zyablikovo District IAB, where he was detained and demanded to sign a confession to posting an anti-war publication, but was released without a report being drawn up. On 1 June 2023, he was taken from his home and taken to the Zyablikovo District IAB, where he was detained and demanded to sign a confession to posting an anti-war publication, but was released without a report being drawn up. On 8th of June at 6 a.m. the law enforcers broke into Gayevsky's house to examine the premises, put him on the floor, took away his equipment and again took him to the Zyablikovo District IAB, where they again detained him for about five hours, forcing him to sign a confession. On the same day, the court imposed a fine on him on charges of disobedience to a police officer (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences). In March 2024, it became known that a case was brought against Gayevsky for spreading military "fakes". On 7 June 2024, the court ruled to send Gayevsky for compulsory treatment.

In November 2025, it became known that Gayevsky left Russia.
