Andrei Merkurev

A long-distance truck driver, on 1 June 2025, he was driving one of the lorries that contained drones hidden inside mobile homes. These drones were used by Ukrainian intelligence services to attack a military airfield in the Irkutsk region. Merkurev was arrested and later charged with involvement in a terrorist act. According to "Mediazona," Merkurev and the other truck drivers were unaware of their role in this. He was also subsequently charged with possession of explosives.
