Andrei Polyakov

An activist, a resident of Tambov. A case of rehabilitation of Nazism was brought against him. Polyakov claims that he was prosecuted because of an appeal from a local Stalinist who claimed that Polyakov had spread false information about Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya, Stalin's order No. 428 "on scorched earth", the siege of Leningrad and the evacuation of the inhabitants of Stalingrad. During the investigation new episodes were added to the case. On 24 June 2022 he was sentenced to a fine of 250 thousand roubles.

In June 2023, Polyakov was detained and later a report was drawn up on him for production and distribution of extremist materials (Article 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offences) because of his profile picture with a white-blue-white flag in the form of a heart in Telegram. Polyakov left Russia no later than August 2023: he reported threats of criminal charges against him.

In September, Tverdyi Znak Tambov reported that Polyakov was prosecuted for repeated propaganda and demonstration of Nazi or extremist symbols (Article 282.4 of the Criminal Code). At the same time his wife Ekaterina Logvinova was summoned for 14 consecutive interrogations. During one of them, the investigator confessed to Logvinova that his superiors "gave him a good beating" because Polyakov had managed to leave the country. Therefore, the investigator began to summon Logvinova for regular interrogations as a witness. The couple's underage children were also summoned for questioning.

In March 2024, it was reported that a case of public insults to the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland was brought against Polyakov.

In July 2025, one of Polyakov's criminal cases was brought to the court - he was accused not only of repeated propaganda and demonstration of Nazi or extremist symbols, but also of repeatedly discrediting the army.
