Andrei Samokhotkin

Former content manager of the Sakharov Centre, left Russia in 2022. After the outbreak of full-scale war, he wrote anti-war posts on VKontakte. In November 2023, police officers came to his residence address in Valuiki (Belgorod region) as part of a preliminary check to initiate a case of discrediting the Armed Forces. In February 2024, the initiation of the case was refused. In October 2024, Samokhotkin was put on a wanted list as part of a case on calls for activities against the security of the Russian Federation.
