Anikiev, a videographer and stoker from Yeniseysk, had his home searched on 28 June 2023, following three anti-war comments he posted on VKontakte. The police seized his phone, laptop, and passport, and made him apologize on camera. He provided a written statement expressing regret for his actions and promised not to speak out about the war on social networks again.
Later, Anikiev posted on VKontakte that one of the officers who detained him had a "dead head" patch on his uniform. He referred to the police officers as "carriers of the invading ideology of Russian Nazism" and noted that the video

Later, Anikiev posted on VKontakte that one of the officers who detained him had a "dead head" patch on his uniform. He also stated that a fascist regime had been established in Russia and that part of the nation was afflicted by "the plague of Russian Nazism." Following these statements, a criminal case was brought against him. Anikiev is currently under travel restrictions. On 22 May 2024 he was sentenced to a fine of 100,000 roubles.
