In March 2015, a criminal case was opened against Anton Simakov under the article on public actions expressing obvious disrespect for society and committed with the aim of offending the religious feelings of believers, due to the fact that he performed a ritual with the decapitation of a rooster using Orthodox religious objects. The ritual was performed on 2 October 2014 - according to Simakov, with the aim of ending the war on Ukrainian territory and targeting prominent Ukrainian politicians. After TV journalist Maxim Rumyantsev reported Simakov, he was summoned to the Investigative Committee as part of preliminary investigation. In

On 12 April 2016, the magistrate court of Kirovsky district of Yekaterinburg granted the investigators' petition to place Simakov on compulsory psychiatric treatment. In January 2017, he left the clinic.
