Biography
Resident of Moscow. In the night of 26 November 2013, detained together with twelve other people during a raid on the hostel where he was living at the time. Accused of preparing a terrorist attack in the "Kirgizia" cinema theatre. The case contains the testimony of a secret witness who was allegedly held in the same cell with Tekilov at the pre-trial detention centre and heard him talk about his readiness to kill infidels, his participation in the preparation of the terrorist attack on the cinema theatre and his involvement in the illegal supply of weapons from Chechnya to Moscow.

The case contains the testimony of a secret witness who was allegedly held in the same cell with Tekilov at the pre-trial detention centre and heard him talk about his readiness to kill infidels, his participation in the preparation of the terrorist attack on the cinema theatre and his involvement in the illegal supply of weapons from Chechnya to Moscow. At the same time, the witness claimed that Tekilov confessed to him that he and his brothers had participated in the events in Budennovsk and Pervomaysk, although they had all been young children at the time.
Human rights activists believe that there is no convincing evidence of his involvement in the crime; in their opinion, the persecution was part of a campaign to pressure Muslims.
On 22 April 2016, he was sentenced to eleven years in a strict regime penal colony. He is supposed to have been released in November 2024.
