Artem Bystrov

An anti-fascist and civil activist from Nizhny Novgorod. He was detained on April 26, 2011. In the investigator's office Bystrov was offered to give a confession in order to remain free on his own recognisance, otherwise the investigators promised to get him remanded in custody. He was placed under house arrest. Together with other associates he was accused of hooliganism and creation of an extremist community (fictitious organisation "R.A.S.H.-Antifa"). Bystrov was on the wanted list. On January 21, 2026, he was removed from the list of extremists and terrorists of Rosfinmonitoring.
