Resident of Krasnoyarsk. Detained no later than July 2023 and taken into custody on charges of confidential cooperation with a foreign organisation, participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation, calls for terrorist activities and preparation for sabotage. The investigation believes that he, following the instructions from the Freedom of Russia Legion, pasted leaflets in support of the organisation and also planned to set fire to relay protection cabinets on the railway. It is possible that the case was the result of a provocation by the Russian security services: in particular, Sanzharayev was detained before the arson, when he had just started collecting Molotov cocktails on the railway. On 18 July 2024, he was sentenced to 14 years in a strict-regime penal colony. On 12 November 2024, the appeal court overturned the sentence and returned the case to the first instance court. On 20 December, a new custodial sentence was handed down, details unknown.
