Artem Skritsky

Glass artist. He lived in Chukotka before moving to St. Petersburg. In March 2023, he was detained in Dagomys (Krasnodar Krai), where he had gone on a vacation with his wife and his youngest son. According to Skritsky, the detention took place near the entrance to the house he was renting, but at the trial the police said that they detained him at the railway station and that he resisted the arrest. It turned out that the artist has been charged with inciting extremism and terrorism because of emotional statements about officials he made on social networks in 2021. Skritsky was taken into custody and brought to Chukotka. Two months later, he was released from custody under a no-travel obligation. On 26 March 2024, Skritsky was sentenced, details are unknown.
