Biography
Resident of Udmurtia. On 23 March 2023, he was detained in Izhevsk because of anti-war inscriptions, after which he was taken into custody in a case of participation in the activities of an extremist organisation (part 2 of article 282.2 of the Criminal Code): the investigation believes that Perevozchikov painted inscriptions against war and in support of Navalny on the instructions of the politician's local headquarters. At the end of August 2023, the case was transferred from Udmurtia to the central office of the Investigative Committee, and Perevozchikov was transferred to Moscow. Then he was returned to Izhevsk. It became known that the charge was reclassified: he was charged with vandalism and participation in the activities of an extremist community. On 26 August 2024 Perevozchikov was sentenced to two and a half years in a general regime colony. Presumably, he was released on 19 November 2024.
