Artur Bavrin

A resident of Tver. Worked at Navalny's headquarters. In February 2022, he left Russia as a result of pressure from law enforcement officers. In April 2022, it became known that Bavrin's last name appeared in a document of the Main Department of Regional Security of the Tver Region, according to which a check of the telegram channel "Close Tver after me" for extremism was carried out.

In February 2025, the activist's parents were visited with an inspection of the premises, and they were informed that a case under the terrorist article had been opened against him in connection with his Energy for Ukraine project, which provides energy sources for Ukrainians affected by bombings, as well as devices for finding veins in wounded military personnel. That same month, he was added to Rosfinmonitoring's list of extremists and terrorists as an "extremist," i.e., without the marking that is put on the names of those prosecuted under terrorist articles.

Later it became known that a case on calls to extremism was opened against Bavrin because of his statements about the leadership of Russia, law enforcement officers and military officers. The content of these statements is unknown.

On January 22, 2026, the court sentenced him in absentia to two and a half years' imprisonment in a settlement.
