Azat Lukmanov
Biography
Azat Lukmanov was detained on November 19, 2019 in Moscow. Federal Security Service officers searched his workplace, and several other people were also detained. Lukmanov was taken to Ufa, where the next day the court put him on remand on charges of engagement in a terrorist organization. On December 21, 2021, he was sentenced to 11 years in a strict regime penal colony.
On October 16, 2008, Lukmanov was sentenced to 8 months in prison on charges of organizing activities of an extremist organization on grounds of his alleged membership in Hizb ut-Tahrir; on September 22, 2010, he was sentenced to
