Azat Mirzin

Resident of the village of Mullakaevo (Bashkortostan, South Urals). Detained at his place of residence in the evening of 18 January 2024. On 20 January, the court sent him to custody on charges of organising mass riots and using violence against a representative of the authorities because of acitizen assemply having taking place in Baymak (Bashkortostan) on 17 January, the day of the sentencing of activist Fail Alsynov. On 7 February 2025, he was sentenced to 4.5 years' imprisonment in a general regime penal colony.
