Aznaur Semenov

He is a resident of Karachay-Cherkessia. On 6 December 2023, he was detained and then taken into custody on charges of participation in the activities of an extremist organisation for his alleged involvement in Takfir wal-Hijra (some human rights activists believe that such an organisation does not exist) and possession of weapons. In February 2025, an official announcement was published stating that Semenov was sentenced to imprisonment in a general regime colony (his term ranges from two and a half years to three years and one month; exact information is not available).
