Bertram Schmitt

Former judge of the International Criminal Court. He was prosecuted for unlawful detention and attempted assault on an internationally protected person in connection with the prosecution of Putin and Maria Lvova-Belova, the children's rights ombudsperson. On 12 December 2025, Schmitt was sentenced in absentia to imprisonment.
