Daniel Kananovich

A resident of the Sakhalin region. He was detained in Belgorod region. A case of attempted treason and participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation was brought against him: according to the investigation, he was going to join the Freedom of Russia Legion. On 14 January 2026 Kananovich was sentenced to 14 years in a strict regime colony.
