A resident of Krasnoyarsk and supporter of the antifa movement, Ivanov was accused of robbery in an incident that allegedly involved visiting a former antifascist who had shifted to right-wing views. Ivanov was taken into custody and pleaded guilty to the robbery. His parents later reported seeing bruises on his face, and the VKontakte community "Punks and Skins" claimed he may have confessed under torture. On April 19, 2023, Ivanov was placed under house arrest, and on May 17, he received a five-year suspended sentence.
