Biography

Mikhailenko is a resident of Kansk, Krasnoyarsk region, a minor at the time of the prosecution. He was detained in June 2020, shortly after he and Nikita Uvarov put up leaflets in the city in support of Azat Miftakhov and those convicted in the "Network" case. Mikhailenko is a resident of Kansk, Krasnoyarsk region, a minor at the time of the prosecution. He was detained in June 2020, shortly after he and Nikita Uvarov put up leaflets in the city in support of Azat Miftakhov and those convicted in the "Network" case. On 11 June, Mikhailenko was placed under house arrest in the case of receiving training for terrorist attacks. According to Uvarov, Mikhailenko and the third defendant in the case, Bogdan Andreev, denounced him under pressure. In November, a case of participation in the activities of a terrorist community was opened. As one of the proofs of guilt, the investigation used correspondence about the explosion of the FSB building in the computer game Minecraft, but these circumstances were not included in the indictment. In November Mikhaylenko was placed in custody for violating the conditions of house arrest, he was accused of keeping correspondence on the Internet. In March 2021, the charge of participation in the activities of a terrorist community was dropped. On 17 August, Mikhailenko was given a ban on certain actions as a preventive measure. The court exempted him from liability under the article on undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist acts, leaving the charges of manufacturing and storage of explosives. On 10 February 2022, Mikhailenko was sentenced to three years' suspended sentence.
