Dmitry Baev

Baev was a deacon of the Church of the Nativity of John the Baptist in Kirov. On 25 February, he resigned from the church and soon left Russia with his family. On 11 March, by decree of the diocesan bishop, Baev was banned from priesthood. On 23 March, a criminal case was initiated because of his posts on VKontakte in support of Ukraine. His page was blocked at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office on 24 March. Baev's appartment was searched, and he was put on the federal wanted list. In October, he was defrocked.
