Dmitry Protopopov

Co-founder of Popcorn Books and Individuum publishing houses. On May 14, 2025, he was detained as part of a case on the activities of an extremist organisation (namely the so-called "International LGBT Movement") in connection with the distribution of books that were deemed to contain LGBTQ+ propaganda, including the novel The Summer in a Pioneer Tie. On the next day Protopopov was placed under house arrest.
