Resident of Dzerzhinsk (Nizhny Novgorod region), locomotive driver. In September 2022, he was fined under the administrative article on discrediting the army (Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences). Resident of Dzerzhinsk (Nizhny Novgorod region), locomotive driver. In September 2022, he was fined under the administrative article on discrediting the army (Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences). On 15 March 2024, he was detained in the street with the use of force; according to what he told his lawyer, he was beaten, his ear was twisted. In order to make him unlock his phone, he was threatened that his wife and son would be imprisoned, and his minor daughter sent to an orphanage. He was then brought to a car park where he was tortured with a stun gun. After that Savin was taken home to be searched. He was informed that his wife and son had been detained. Savin agreed to unlock his phone, after which an officer called and ordered his son to be released after questioning. Savin was taken to Federal Security Service for questioning. He was not immediately admitted to the temporary detention cell due to his physical condition, so he was first conducted to the first-aid center in Nizhny Novgorod. The next day, the court sent Savin to custody. He was accused of publicly justifying terrorism: according to the investigation, he was distributing leaflets pertaing to ATESH Crimean Tatar guerrilla movement.
