Eduard Cherevan

A resident of Rostov-on-Don, a goalkeeper for the Lokomotiv football team. In January 2023, he was detained and then taken into custody in a case of participating in a terrorist organization: according to the investigation, he joined Azov in 2016, and since autumn 2022 he had been inciting Rostov residents to join it. Cherevan denies the charge. On 4 December 2024, Cherevan was sentenced to 14 years in a strict regime colony.
