Eduard Sviridov

Resident of Moscow. On 26 August 2021, Eduard was detained, and the next day he was taken into custody by court order on charges of organising activities of an extremist organisation in connection with involvement in the Jehovah's Witnesses community. Representatives of this community are prosecuted under extremist articles solely for religious activities: meetings, joint worship services, attraction of new followers. On 22 December 2023, Eduard was sentenced to six and a half years in a general regime colony.
