Egor Voshchinin

He is an oncologist from St. Petersburg and an employee of the National Medical Oncology Research Centre named after N.N. Petrov. On 2 July 2025, he was detained in a case of calls for terrorism due to his comments in Telegram, in which experts found signs of incitement “to carrying out the death penalty of political figures of the Russian Federation by hanging”. The Rotunda outlet reported that his comments referred to the Russian leadership. Voshchinin was taken into custody the next day.
