Eldar Karamurzaev

Resident of the Kherson region (Ukraine). On 24 February 2025, he was detained, after which he was allegedly placed in detention on charges of involvement in the activities of the Noman Chelebidzhikhan Battalion, which actually ceased to exist before the incriminated acts began. The head of the Crimean Tatar Resource Centre Eskender Bariev stated that a month after his detention, Karamurza's family knew nothing about his whereabouts. On the 15th December 2025, Karamurza was sentenced to eight years in a strict regime colony.
