Biography
A journalist from Syktyvkar who left Russia. Before emigrating, she worked with independent publications, including Sever.Realii, 7x7, and Novaya Gazeta, covering protests in Shies and environmental issues. After moving to Canada with her family, she began writing in French for local media and hosting the podcast Voices of the Forest, which focuses on the history and mythology of the Komi people.
In August 2025, she was prosecuted for evading her duties as a “foreign agent” due to the untimely submission of a report to the Ministry of Justice. She stopped submitting reports after relocating to Canada. In September, Solovyova was placed
