A resident of Novosibirsk, she shares the ideology of "citizens of the USSR". In June 2022, she was detained after a search. A case was opened against her for disseminating deliberately false information about the Russian Armed Forces. At first, a measure of restraint was chosen against her in the form of a signature not to leave, although she herself denied it. On 3 August, the activist was detained by police in Prokopyevsk (Kemerovo Region), where she was visiting her sister, and then taken to Novosibirsk for questioning. On 4 August, Tardasova-Yun stopped making contact. "I was taken to Novosibirsk by deceit, although at first they said that the interrogation would be conducted at the police department of Prokopyevsk. In the end, they took me to another region, and I am waiting for an investigator. I don't know what kind of questioning, if I have already been questioned by the IC in the case of "spreading false information". A policeman is sitting opposite, saying that he is not obliged to explain anything to me," "Sibir. Realities" call Tardasova-Yun on 3 August. Then lawyer Elena Chirkina was unable to meet with her client: Tardasova-Yun was eventually detained for 48 hours - as Chirkina suggests, in order to be placed in a psychoneurological dispensary for examination. At the outpatient examination in July, a psychiatrist, after refusing to testify and completing one of the tasks, wrote in his conclusion that he found Tardasova-Yun had difficulties in generalisation processes and unclear thinking. After that, the investigation began to insist on an in-patient examination. The activist called such a decision punitive psychiatry, and her lawyer asked for a repeat examination. On 5 August it became known that Tardasova-Yun was elected a measure of restraint in the form of a ban on certain actions. On 26 December, Tardasova-Yun was sent to custody: the reason was that she allegedly published two videos on her social network page, thus violating the ban on certain actions. At the same time, the lawyer claims that at that time the preventive measure imposed on the activist had already expired, as it was chosen only for the period of investigation, which had already been completed by that time.

On 22 February 2023, Tardasova-Yun was sentenced to 11 months of correctional labour and released from custody in the courtroom.
