Emine Zekeryaeva

Crimean resident. On 7 August 2023, her home was searched. She was told that she was a witness in the case of a Ukrainian citizen who had gone to Syria. In September, Zekeryaeva received a call from an unknown person who claimed to have been at the search at her home and demanded that she appear before the Investigative Committee for investigative actions. According to the defence lawyer, the unknown person threatened to come and forcibly take the woman to the Investigative Committee. On this fact, the defence lawyer sent a request to the FSB, but he was told that "no violations were found". In November, it became known that a case of failure to report a crime was opened against Zekeryaeva because she did not tell about the woman with whom she corresponded in 2016 during the search. On 26 June 2024, Zekeryaeva was sentenced to a fine of 50 thousand rubles.
